"O" Christmas Tree

Holidays come and go but the simple memories always remain in our hearts!

                                                                     5 x 7      $75

How will you spend this holiday?

Here's hoping with a cup of cheer in hand and celebrating life to its fullest!

As for me I' ll be in Pasadena, California celebrating the life of my nephew, Kevin, who passed away.
His face made of organic seeds will be on the "Donate Life" float in the 2015 Rose Bowl parade, which is an extreme honor. While he may be gone he continues to remain in our presence bringing us great joy. If your not already an organ donor please consider giving the Gift of Life.

While my work continues in the decorative art world, most recently I joined forces with the daily painters movement. This means I committed myself to paint everyday or almost every day at least one small peice of art. ( I'll be burning the candle at night) Although I'm sure there will be large projects that will take precedence along the way if not life itself! Follow my blog and you can stay tuned on what's going on in the art world as well as other good stuff. (Enter your email address where it says follow me)

Check out my Daily Paintworks to see other holiday paintings and more.

Wishing you and yours the very best this holiday season!

"Beaming with Light"

More lemons, what can I say other than I've painted lots of lemons lately! I was about to make limoncello the other night but before I destroyed these lemons I decided to paint them. These two little guys were just beaming with light, perhaps they were happy about the thought of taking a vodka bath? "Just a thought!"

This painting was done on a cradled wood panel. If you don't know what that is, the wood cradle gives the art panel edge a substantial presence. It is 1 3/4 inch deep and sits nicely in a floater frame.  Please note the frame is not included with the artwork.

                                                          12 x 12 x 1 3/4     $175

"Golden Girl"

I painted this little gem for my Daily paint works paint challenge of the week. The challenge was to paint what I am grateful for. "I am very grateful for my family, especially my mother who does so much to help so many!"  Therefore I painted this little pear and called it "Golden Girl!" And best of all, it was selected by DPW as their facebook pick of the day this past Monday....yay!
