There's nothing like watching the sunset on the sea at the end of a beautiful day. I painted this from a  photo taken in the dunes of Provincetown, Massachusetts during one of my artist residencies. I would go to the ocean everyday, which was a short walk from my beach shack to see the last light of day, (given that I had to rely on candlelight to get through the night) needless to say it was always absolutely magnificent!
